Decorate your buffet tables with "Trivia Pursuit" inspired chargers! Use anything round, some wide painters tape and va-la! You could even use round cardboard cake boards
Why not create Monopoly inspired wine tags?!? Everyone might fight for the blue properties (highest value, duh!) so be careful! Source
Turn your cheese ball into a cheese die! Just make it square and cut olives in half - so cute! Get even more creative and have two "dice" on the platter! Source
Create scrabble letters - just use cookie dough or square gum or fondant, then just use edible markers
How fun is this Uno "cake"?!? What a stunning centerpiece this would be! If you don't want a "cake" use the idea to create dessert and appetizer individual trays! Source

UNO cake is funny:)

Great ideas! I'm inspired, once the holiday craziness is over, I'm making cookies that look like Trivial Pursuit pies, Uno cards and Monopoly men!

I can see taking a brick of cream cheese and using rasins or olives to make it look like dominoes. Maybe a piece of bell pepper or black liciorice could serve as the center bar?
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas Anna R!

I LOVE these ideas!! We just started doing a monthly Couples Game Night where we get together the first week of each month (we rotate houses to mix it up a bit, and the host house provides dinner, so we always get interesting cuisine), we have spinning wheels for small prizes like wine, we set a movie up on the projector, and just play games and hang out...it's so much fun, and inexpensive! Thanks so much for the ideas - I'm definitely looking to spice things up and these fun game-night goodies will be just right! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much for the cheese ball dice idea!!! November is my month to host Bunco & I've been looking for fun ideas of how to decorate & prepare for it. I hate cooking, so this simple idea is perfect for me! THANK YOU!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteawesome!!! I love posting stuff I think most people can tackle - because not everyone has a staff like Martha! You could get those round stickers used for garage sales and make "dice" around, too! have a great party!
